One of the most basic pieces of writing advice is to engage all of the reader’s senses. But the mistake that writers make over and over is only using sight and hearing. Why stop there? People interact with the world in more ways than that... let’s explore them in our fiction as well. After all, the most gripping narratives are the ones that subconsciously draw the reader in by engaging all of their senses — and that’s no accident, it’s the result of the writer’s careful attention to method and craft.

In this special course, award-winning author David D. Levine will guide you through the many different techniques the best writers use to activate all of the senses of their readers. And David knows a little about commanding the attention of readers: he’s a Hugo Award winner, a Nebula Award winner, a John. W. Campbell Award winner, a Phobos Fiction Contest winner, a James White Award winner, an Endeavor award winner, a Writers of the Future Contest winner, and a Jim Baen Memorial Writing Contest winner—not to mention the many other awards and contests he’s been a finalist in. That’s a lot of awards... and this is your chance to learn straight from the mind of such a celebrated author!

This course is a 2-hour webinar, with plenty of time to personally ask David any questions you might have. Enrollees will receive a recording to review later. You’ll leave this webinar with a solid understanding of specific skills you can employ to heighten your fiction with sensory richness.
